Indigo Children I
arousal
Indigo Children of Tarturus
painted dark with holy inscriptions
what has left your healing tears
pooling at your feet?
is it the violent sun bursting
into dark blackhole supernovas?
Blinking eyes dart back and forth
between existense and temporal
white heat.
Indigo Children II
twisted
Indigo Children of Tarturus
with your eyes, beady black holes,
welcoming the secession of
space
the theory of relativity
and the doppler effect
inhibiting your drawing-blanks
your nothing-thoughts...
how do you cope with the
knowledge that purpose
is moot?
Indigo Children III
Oz
schrapnel hollow-holes gouged into
your darkened skin speaks
of earthbursting supernovas
did he do this to you
or did you beg on your
bloodied, purpled knees for
salvation?
I bet that puppetman
didn't blink when you cried
-my lord, my god, please- but was pleased
to know he still held all the
strings
well I pray to no puppeteer
no marauding fraud
and I ask the man, this
wizard, this conqueror of Oz
to show his face, to part the heavy
curtains

Arvy: I love you! anyzways enough of sounding like an obsessed fangirl I actually didn't think of Indigo Children when I wrote it, probably my subconcious working me over doubletime. Just thought it sounded cool at two in the bloody morning. I have no idea about type/classes of indigos I shall go look up now. cheers hon.
Jojo: wow...insight! yeah! thank you for the review.
'Indigo children' sounds like a rare loss of touch of genius from a classic poet.
The poem is a bit complicated, but once all the figures and thoughts sink in, it turns out to be quiet good, not genius... but good.
CL i take it you consider thineself indigo as well? The poems were amazing i love them. Are these like, three classes/types of indigos?
I can't find anything wrong with this because I don't really understand it. However, I can tell you the bits I thought worked well:
inhibiting your drawing-blanks
your nothing-thoughts...
bloodied, purpled knees
Nice image. Well actually, a rather horrible image but you put it across well.
-my lord, my god, please- but was pleased
Good use of alliteration here.

The spelling out of truth works well if indeed you are saying this, to whoever you are saying it to, in order to spell it out for them because they just don't get it. But I don't know what purpose it has, as I don't really understand the poem. Maybe we're not meant to. Also, what does moot mean? It sounds a little informal in comparison to the rest of the poem, but I haven't heard it before.
